Nursery

This weekend we have finally started really working in Brynley's nursery. Robyn went and bought all of the painting supplies yesterday. He also started getting everything out of the room which is A LOT. I didn't know we owned so much. Hopefully today we will get everything out, and the walls atleast primed. We have to get busy because little princess will be here before we know it.

Yesterday Mom, Granny, and I went to Hobby Lobby to get supplies for the diaper cake that will be a decoration at her shower. I had so much fun picking out supplies! I can't wait to get it put together and see what it looks like!

26 weeks

I can't believe that I am already 26 weeks pregnant! I feel great, and do not even feel pregnant. Brynley has started kicking hard enough so that I can see my belly move! She also finally kicked for her Daddy which made him so happy. We have finally started cleaning out the room for the nursery and we hope to start painting this week. We have so much to do before our little bundle of joy gets here! We have her furniture, bedding, and wall paintings ordered. Now to just get the room all put together! I am still craving lemonade all the time. I love it!

I had my glucose test this week. I guess it came back fine because I never got a call about it. I was so nervous about it, but there was nothing to it. At this appt. Dr. Woods said my weight was great, my iron was back where it should be, I had a good BP, and Brynley had a strong , healthy heart beat. Since no one is allowed to touch my belly she seems to go crazy when they put the heard monitor on her. This time she kicked it as soon as the nurse touched my belly!

Growing, Growing, Growing

Brynley is growing so much. We had our dr. appt on April 12. The nurse who came in to find her heart beat told me I might want to go ahead and put up everything valuable before this baby gets here becuase she is so hyper. She moved from one side to the other so much when she was trying to get her heartbeat. Right now it seems like she sleeps most of the day while I teach. She is very active when I first start the day with my class everymorning. I wonder if it is because she hears all the kids. Then she is very calm until I lay down. Everytime her daddy tries to feel her move the little princess just stops. I love to feel her sweet little kicks. It is so amazing to me that God creates such miracles.
We also had the appt a few weeks ago to design her bedding. I can't wait to see it. It will be brown, sage , and pink. I can't wait to get her nursery put together,it may finally seem real then.

Nursery Furniture

Yesterday we went to Huntsville and ordered the furniture for Brynley's Nursery. I am so in love with it! We chose the color expresso. I can't wait till it comes in and we can get the nursery ready. Tuesday I am going to design/order her bedding. I just can't wait. I am ready to get everything ready for our precious little angel.

Brynley is Hyper!

I started feeling the tiny flutters in my stomach when I was only 14 weeks and 4 days pregnant, February 18th to be exact. My granny always told me that when I felt her I would know it because it would feel just like a butterfly fluttering around in there, and it really did. Two days after we found out the sex of our sweet angel I started feeling her ever so often from the outside of my belly. It really is the most amazing feeling in the world. Usually I can only feel her when I am laying down, but today while my class was having arts and crafts fun Friday little miss priss was very hyper, and I could feel her over and over. All my life I was so afraid of how the feeling would be when I got pregnant, but it truly is the best feeling in the world. I think of it as her saying, "Hi Mommy, I'm ok in here and I cant wait to see you!"

Its a .......

Monday we went to the dr. for our 18 week ultrasound and to find out what Baby C would be. On the way to the dr. I drank a 20 oz Mt. Dew and ate a WHATCHMACALIT candy bar. Baby was jumping all over the place. After the nurse did her thing she turned the screen around to us. Baby would not cooperate. I had to move to different positions, and each time she got down there it crossed it legs. At one point Robyn looked at the screen and said, "Oh, is that his little thing?" It was hilarious because she informed him that it was the baby's umbilical cord. Finally Baby C uncrossed it's legs and its a GIRL. We were both very shocked. We had been calling her by the boy name that we had picked out. I wanted a girl so bad deep down inside, but really thought that we would have a boy. Of course Daddy started saying how she won't be able to date until she is 30 and began worrying about boys already. Me...well I started thinking about hairbows, and monograms, and spend the night parties with Addyson. Her name will be Brynley Sage!

The Stomach Virus

Thursday night I came home from school. I was so tired, and couldn't wait to take my nap. As soon as I hit the couch I got this awful feeling, and told Robyn to run and get the garbage can as fast as he could. He made it back just in time, because I was VERY sick. I vomitted for 15 hours. I was so worried about Baby C, but so sick that I could barely raise my head up. We called the emergency line and they called in a prescription. Of course it didn't work. Finally around midnight Robyn called them back and we ended up having to call my wonderful mother. She stayed and took care of me all night, then got up and took off work the next day and stayed with me. I have never in my life been so sick. Being sick and pregnant is not a good combination. I had gained 9lbs during my pregnancy, but I lost 8 of it while I was sick. I seriously do not know what I would do without a the wonderful family that I have been blessed with. After almost 3 days of laying around I am finally able to get up today. I hope this bug stays far away from my family from now on.
